Calculate or Set an Answer

Calculate or Set an Answer when you don't want the user to have to do it.

Answers can be set to a constant; the answer of another question (ie a variable); or a calculation.

For instance:

• Set the applicant's number of children to zero if the user has already answered  "No" to the applicant having children.

• Set the Testator's name to be the same as the client's name.

• Set the settlement date to be 42 days from the exchange date.

To Set an answer select 'Set' from the Insert Field dialog
