Requirements

 

Informs requires:

  • A computer running Microsoft Windows (version 98 or later).

  • Microsoft Word (version 97 or later).

  • 15 MB available hard disk space.

  • A screen resolution of at least 800 × 600 pixels.

To install Informs you must be logged on as the user that will be using Informs. Part of installation process involves loading the Informs' menu bar into your Word profile. If you have a Restricted or Limited user account that does not permit you to install software on your computer then it will be necessary to change your user account to a Standard user or Computer Administrator whilst Informs is installed. Once Informs is installed and you have confirmed the Informs' menu bar loads into Word you can change your user account back to its original setting.
